On Saturday, June 16th, Altered Minds staff and participants went to the Newcomer Welcome Fair organized by the Manitoba Association of Newcomer Serving Organisations. We re-connected with many old friends and made a few new ones. We listened to the music and watched beautiful ethnic dances from many cultures. There were bouncy castles, face painting, information for adults and activities for children, free hot dogs and ice-cream. It was lots of fun!

Lots of newcomers attended the event.

Entry Program students shared their photos with us.

We re-connected with our friends from other newcomer-serving organisations.

One of former Entry Program students is now a volunteer with the Canadian Red Cross!

There was music and dancing.

The map of Canada puzzle was a popular activity.
